Christ is Risen! Christos Voskrese!

The Easter Messages Is Telling Us Something

At Washington National Airport, a long line had formed at one of the airline ticket windows. Suddenly, a strange-looking character charged up to the front of the line, put ten dollars on the counter and said to the ticket agent, "I want to go to New York." The clerk said, "I'm sorry sir, but you can't go to New York for ten dollars." "Well where can I go?" the man asked. And fifteen people in the line told him where to go. The Easter Message is telling us where to go. The Risen Christ is telling us that the waiting is over, the death-watch is over. The time has come for us to roll away the stone and rise from the tomb of our empty life. As you look at your life, where ever it may be at this moment, and you begin to feel a sense of emptiness and futility, know that the power and the strength to change all that is available to you. The power and strength is here to enable you to do what God intends for you, in your relationships, in your work, in your recreation, in your spirituality, in your ministry of peacemaking and loving service. The Easter Message is telling us where to go!

Their Journey of Faith Leads to St. Michael's

New Parishioners, George and Mary Ann Kohetich and their son, Maxwell, have chosen St. Michael's as their spiritual home. We welcome them to our Parish Family and pray that they may joyfully count one blessing after another in this House of the Lord!

A Note from The Sisters in Sloatsburg

The good Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate, Sloatsburg, NY, cordially invite prospective individuals to an Open House at their St. Joseph's Adult Care Home. Their senior care home facility is located on beautiful monastery grounds. The Open House viewing is Sunday, April 13 th, 1:00 - 5:00 pm.

Called to Their Eternal Home

Condolences and prayerful sympathy are shared with the Families of +Yolanda Donetz and +Katherine Kuscienko who have been called by Our Lord to their eternal home. The Rite of Christian Burial was celebrated yesterday for Yolanda and tomorrow, the Funeral of our dear Katherine Kuscienko. May their families persevere in the faith of Our Lord's Resurrection and find peace in our fervent prayers. Eternal Memory!

The Easter Offering of Our Parish Faithful

Profound prayerful gratitude is shared with our entire parish family and benefactors for the love and generosity which you have shown in the Offertory for Easter. The combined Offertory, mindful of gifts received prior to and also shortly after Easter, were received. Without a single doubt, the love which ignites your generosity is a sure blessing to this special House of the Lord!
