On December 22nd, after the Divine Liturgy, the parishioners gathered around Bishop Kurt and Fr. Marek in celebration in anticipation of Christmas. Children and young adults re-enacted the nativity story and sang Christmas carols. A delicious lunch was shared and fellowiship was enjoyed by all.

On Nov. 3rd all parishioners gathered together to celebrate their patron Saint at Matins at 9:30am and Divine Liturgy at 10:30am at the Cathedral.
Afterwards, all converged to the basemant and shared an early dinner with Fr. Marek and Bishop Kurt.
Fellowship was enjoyed by everyone.

On the evening of September 30th, neighboring priests flocked to St. Michael's Cathedral to celebrate Vespers and Litija and welcome Fr. Marek to Passaic, NJ. Their warm welcome extended well into the early morning hours...

Over Labor Day weekend some parishioners went on pilgrimage to Uniontown, PA. Despite the inclement weather, they were able to brave the elements and join faithful from around the country and pray with the Sisters of St. Basil the Great on Mount St. Macrina's beautiful grounds.

On August 13th the parishioners of St. Michael's Cathedral, lead by Bishop Kurt and Fr. Marek, joined faithful from all over the United States to celebrat the 100th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Byzantine Catholic Church in America. Together they prayed a Moleben of Thanksgiving at St. Mary's Church in Manhattan, just as Bishop Basil Takach, the first official Byzantine Bishop in America did upon arriving in America. Fr. Chris Zugger gave a talk on the historical significance of the moment. A reception followed.

On July 10th, a group of the faithful of St. Michael's, led by Fr. Marek, went on the annual pilgrimage to the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate in Sloatsburg.

On Friday, June 28th, the parishioners of St. Michael's joined together in giving thanks to the Lord for all the many blessings they received through Fr. Jack.
Thank you Fr. Jack for all you did for our parish, for all you taught us, for your hard work, and for your care for each one of us!
